The Little Bellas Half-Day Mountain Bike Camp is the perfect way for girls to get outside, build confidence, and have fun on two wheels this summer. This camp is designed for riders of all levels, blending trail exploration, skill-building, and plenty of games—both on and off the bike. Our experienced mentors will help girls develop bike handling techniques, navigate trails with confidence, and, most importantly, have a blast riding with friends. Whether your camper is new to the sport or already loves mountain biking, she’ll leave camp with new skills, new friendships, and a deeper love for the outdoors. And did we mention fun? Little Bellas camps are known for their energy, positivity, and non-stop smiles.
Financial assistance is available if needed and we also have equipment available through our Gear Up program! Please communicate any of these needs when filling out the registration form for the program.
Inclement Weather Protocol: In the event of lightning and thunderstorms, we will not cancel program days. Instead, programs will move inside to a pre-determined lightning safe structure and will continue camp activities indoors.

Program Lead
Valerie Foley
val@littlebellas.org
Valerie started mountain biking in the mid 80s and has never looked back! Her love for singletrack, encouraging friends on the trails, racing, and learning new tricks keeps her coming back for more. For fun, Valerie likes to race in the Wisconsin Off Road Series (WORS) and on the challenging trails of the Keweenaw Peninsula. In addition to started the Rhinelander program, Valerie is a certified PMBIA Level 1 instructor, NICA and BICP Level 1 coach (we think it’s safe to say that she knows a thing or two about having fun on bikes!). When she’s not biking, she enjoys kayaking, especially multi-day trips on Lake Superior & the Apostle Islands, paddleboarding, xc skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, coaching our local youth Nordic ski program, camping & walking my dog, Moose! The snow in Northern Wisconsin also makes it possible for her to fat bike during the winter months - wahoo!
